Chris Motionless & I. Besides being an incredible artist, here is why I respect him so much - he is one of the kindest, most nonjudgmental people I have ever met. I have been criticized several times by other fans of certain bands I listen to for not dressing a certain way and it has made me uncomfortable at times. I am not trying to be someone I am not. If you enjoy wearing black clothes everyday I have zero issues with it as long as you do it for yourself and not to make others happy. Although I do not look like the “typical” fan of Motionless In White, they have made a huge impact on my life and even though I do not look a certain way I can still have an appreciation for their music and their message. Anyway, back to my point about Chris Motionless. Years ago, I used to be afraid to meet him because I didn’t want him to blow me off thinking I’m a poser or to think I was some disgusting groupie. They have been my favorite band for the past few years so I was already nervous enough meeting them! I still remember the first time I met them I stood out from the rest of their fans at the show for not dressing a certain way (kind of like in this picture from warped a couple years back). Chris asked me why I was shaking (I was really that nervous and excited….embarrassing). I explained how much the band meant to me and how much respect I have for him as a person. Honestly, the things that he say truly inspire me, make me think, or have some kind of emotional value to me. After telling him all of this, he took my hand and thanked me and told me how much what I said meant to him. I could go on and on about how much Motionless In White means to me or how much I respect all of them, but I think I’ve rambled enough for now. But to sum it up, don’t judge people who look differently than you. You may be missing out on some awesome individuals!

Damn, this picture was from 2011. Haha I will never stop being a fan. They were my favorite set at warped tour on sunday :)

My forearm/wrist tattoo ideas.

I just hate looking down at my wrist and seeing self harm scars everyday so I decided that a tattoo on my forearm would be perfect for my first tattoo :) I would love to hear opinions on what people think would look the best for this placement. I’m also open to other ideas of what could look cool on a forearm :) I know tattoos don’t need to have meaning, but some of my ideas definitely would have meaning to me. I can explain the reason behind my ideas if anyone is curious.

My ideas so far:

Lighthouse

neotraditional heart

crystals

hamsa

dotwork/mandala

seashell with pearl

lotus flower

hour glass or pocket watch

bow
